Annette Day

For the last three years, Annette has been learning to weave, string shells and work with kelp. Annette is very honoured to be nominated as an emerging artist in our traditional and cultural practices.

Personally, Annette is a Mum with a very supportive husband and two adult sons. Professionally, she works as an Aged Care Support Worker with our Elders and over the last sixteen years has been blessed to share many stories, connections, ideas, tears, laughter and love with our wonderful Aunties and Uncles.

She is proud to be a strong Aboriginal woman and thrilled to be involved with Blackspace Creative.
