Mitchem specialises in dance choreography, traditional tools as well as past and present cultural practices and shares these knowledges with schools and the broader community through different workshops and programs.

His artistic practice naturally flows from his interests and cultural connections and include dance and woodwork.

Recently, Mitchem and his partner Jen have welcomed a healthy young boy into the world and look forward to sharing culture with him.
